ADOREED
“Association Des Organisateurs de Raid et Endurance Equestre en Dordogne” is a non-profit organization created in 1997 by four friends, Mr Jean Noel Lafaure is the President. The goal of the association is to organize equestrian endurance rides in the region of Dordogne (France) with a familial atmosphere while offering a professional ride to worldwide competitors.
The first edition was helf in Limeuil in 1998 and 1999, the adventure in Monpazier started in 2001. It has been 26 years that we organize international rides every year.
It is safe to say that we succeeded to create one of the most recognized and beloved rides in Europe and maybe in the World!

FEI World Endurance Championship
This event is not only important on the world Endurance scene, but also for French notoriety in this discipline and in the Equestrian world in general, especially in this significant year when France will host the Olympic Games.
Teams from around the world, representing 60 countries, will participate in this event, and thousands of visitors are expected. With its international reach and various activities planned during the event, such as:
– Opening Ceremony and team presentation in the historical city center of Monpazier, showcasing its rich history and gorgeous architecture,
– Exhibitors’ village open throughout the event, and Friday animations on-site.
The FEI World Championship in Monpazier will serve as a platform for both our local, national and international stakeholders.

Wednesday 4 September 2024
- From 9:00 to 18:00: Teams arrival on site,
- Opening of the catering facilities.
Thursday 5 September 2024
- From 9:00: Opening of the exhibitors’ village,
- Aca Endurance Breeding Finale competition,
- 15:30: Chef d'Equipe Briefing,
- From 18:00: Opening ceremony in the city center of Monpazier.
Friday 6 September 2024
- From 10:00 to 12:00: First horse inspection for the FEI World Championship,
- Followed by the riders weigh in,
- From 12:30: Press Conference,
- From 14:00 to 16:00: Farriery conference,
- From 16:00 to 18:00: show in front of the tribunes: Hasta Luego, Les Goulus and many others,

- 18:00: Riders briefing in front of the tribunes.
Saturday 7 September 2024
- 5:30: Start of the FEI World Endurance Championship,
- Around 17:00: Arrival of the first riders,
- Best conditions award will be within 90min after the winner,
- Party at the endurance village to celebrate the champions.
Sunday 8 September 2024
- 10:30: Prize-Giving and closing ceremony,
- 11:30: press conference with the winners and their Chef d'Equipe,
- From 16:00 First horse inspection for the day after.
Monday 9 September 2024
- 5:30: Start of the FEI CEI3* 160km CEN 160km,
- 7:30: FEI CEI1* 100km,
- Around 16:00 First horse inspection for the day after.
Tuesday 10 September 2024
- Timing tbc: Start of the FEI CEI2* 120km, FEI CEIYJ2* 120km CEN 120km,
- Closing of the Exhibitors Village and the catering.
Useful information
ARRIVAL :
Stables will open at 9:00am on the 04/09,
Horses must arrive 04/09 from 9:00am,
All horse must have passed the veterinary check at 6:00pm at the latest.
*For those who bring horses for the FEI races, stables will be ready for them from 04/09.
OPENING CEREMONY :
All riders must be present.
A detailed program will be sent to the riders closer to the date.
CATERING :
A catering will be dedicated for the riders and their team (grooms and officials), free of charge from Wednesday to Friday evening (except Thursday evening during the opening ceremony).
An open restaurant for visitors and extra staff will be open on the hippodrome from Wednesday.
STABLES :

07/09 : From 4:00am to 12:00am
The ride will be run in 6 different loops :
- Blue : 38.65km
- Red : 20.22km
- Orange : 31.72km
- Red : 20.22km
- Black : 23.12km
- Green : 26.07km
1 Blue Loop 3 Orange Loop 2-4 Red Loop 5 Black Loop 6 Green Loop
4 crews will be permitted per Horse :
- 2 Crew Members on the track
- 2 Crew Members in the recovery area
- 1 Crew Car per Horse
- 1 Chef d’Equipe
- 1 Team Vet
- 1 Farrier per Team
Ice will be sold on the ride day (advance booking will be required).
